Rosanna provides both short- and long-term therapy, drawing on evidence-based therapeutic approaches to carefully tailor therapy to each individual. She is experienced in the assessment and treatment of adults with a wide range of psychological difficulties, including: anxiety, depression, grief and loss, anger, self-esteem concerns, trauma-related difficulties, relationship problems, sexual difficulties, health problems and life transitions. Rosanna has specialist training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema therapy, Compassion-focused Therapy (CFT), trauma-focused therapy and attachment-based approaches.
Rosanna holds a strong commitment to the field of perinatal mental health and recognises the unique psychological challenges of conception, pregnancy and new parenthood. Whilst the journey into parenthood can bring great joy, it also involves unprecedented challenges. Rosanna is passionate about supporting individuals and couples to navigate these challenges, enrich their bond with their baby and develop confidence in their new role. She therefore provides therapy with a specific perinatal lens, incorporating attachment theory, family therapy, emotion-focused and psychodynamic approaches.
Rosanna provides specific support for postnatal and prenatal anxiety and depression, fertility issues, pregnancy loss and premature births. As an experienced trauma-informed clinician, Rosanna is particularly passionate about supporting parents through the experience of a traumatic birth. She is also a certified Circle of Security Educator, a relationship-based early intervention program designed to enhance attachment security between parents and children. Rosanna also provides Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT) to couples adjusting to parenthood, and often works with families on sibling adjustment issues and broader intergenerational dynamics.
In addition, Rosanna is an AHPRA board-approved supervisor and offers clinical supervision to qualified Clinical Psychologists undertaking their registrar program.
