Charlotte completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and Master of Clinical Psychology degrees at the University of Sydney. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is an Associate Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).
Charlotte is a warm, sensitive and thoughtful therapist who prioritises building a genuine relationship with her clients. She believes that feeling emotionally safe and understood is central to meaningful therapy. Charlotte brings genuine curiosity and deep respect to the therapy process, and feels privileged to walk alongside individuals as they explore and make sense of their life experiences and ways of thinking, feeling, and relating to others.
Charlotte enjoys working with individuals as they navigate a range of struggles including: eating and body image difficulties; trauma; anxiety and depression; relationship difficulties; low self-esteem; identity concerns; grief and loss. She is experienced in supporting individuals with diverse cultural backgrounds; gender and sexual identities; and neurotypes. She strives to understand each person’s story in the context of broader family, cultural, and social systems.
Charlotte values working flexibly to meet the unique needs of each individual. Her therapy is grounded in a relational approach, drawing heavily on trauma-informed and attachment-based principles. She integrates her training in Systemic Family Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in her work. Charlotte’s approach extends beyond symptom management, focusing on understanding present emotional difficulties and relational patterns within the context of early experiences and attachment. She values longer-term therapy, where this depth of exploration can unfold within a sustained therapeutic relationship, to facilitate meaningful and lasting change.
Charlotte has worked across a range of services including public, private, university, and charity settings. Currently, she works for a public outpatient eating disorder service alongside her work at My Space.
