Clinic Days: Tue
Emilie holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Wollongong. She is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Emilie is a warm, thoughtful, and compassionate clinician who provides therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and parents. She recognises that reaching out for support can take courage and places great importance on creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. Emilie values building strong therapeutic relationships that are authentic and meaningful.
She has a particular interest in how early experiences and relationships shape the way people see themselves, relate to others, and navigate challenges. Emilie works with a range of concerns, including individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, perfectionism, low self-worth, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, interpersonal difficulties, and life transitions. She also works with parents seeking support to strengthen their relationship with their child, manage emotional and behavioural difficulties, or navigate family stressors with more confidence and connection.
Emilie brings curiosity to her work and aims to support clients in making sense of their difficulties in the context of their unique story, attachment relationships, and environment. Her approach is flexible and integrative, drawing from a range of evidence-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and parenting programs such as Confident Carers, Cooperative Kids and Black Box Parenting Program. She is also planning to complete further training in EMDR later this year to support individuals to process and heal from difficult or traumatic experiences.
She has experience across a variety of clinical settings, including public child and adolescent mental health services, inpatient psychiatric units, university clinics, and schools. Alongside her work at My Space, Emilie works at the Child and Family East Service (CAFÉ), where she supports children and their families with a broad range of complex emotional, behavioural, and relational difficulties. In this role, she works closely with parents to be the key agents of change for their children.
Outside of the therapy room, Emilie loves spending time with friends and family, going to pilates, and finding good coffee and food out and about in Sydney.
